Mini & Mommy Baking

Updated: Sep 20, 2020

One of the most rewarding moments about being a mother is being able to show my daughter my love for #cooking and #baking. Even on days I might just wip something up, she’ll say, “Mommy apron!”

We always have to bake and cook with aprons, ☝🏾 It’s Alana’s rule.

This morning we made Walnut Waffles. I love these waffles because they are easy and we scoop a cup and a half per hot pan.

Ingredients:

3 cups of Pancake mix

2 tablespoons of Oil

1 cup of Almond Milk

1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon

3/4 cup of White Sugar

1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1/2 cup of chopped Walnuts (add at the end)

Mix all ingredients well, before adding #walnuts.

This recipe makes about 3 full waffles, and a 1/4 a slice of waffle for the little one. I used the $15 #Walmart (Farberware) waffle maker. The light turns green when the waffle is ready.

I use Zak Designs! Their confetti collection has recycled plastic incorporated into their bowls. #Zakdesigns #ZakDesignConfetti
